Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to notoriety after she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing More Than A Number in the year 1994. In the age group of 15 the album was awarded Gold recognition. The collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and made her a star in the spotlight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her sophomore studio album One In A Million, that included the top-selling single If Your Girl Knew. The second album of Aaliyah called One in a million was released in 1996. It featured the top song, a huge hit,"If Your Girl Only Knew. She was a part of the action and romance movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at an awards show and suggested her this part. Queen of the Damned was her debut role in 2002. It's based on an Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She had also appeared on The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 the singer was nominated for four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is the first Indian American to be who was born in Connecticut. Mann is an abbreviation of her husband's first name Mankad. But, she has both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for professional names. She began her acting career with minor TV and film roles, but her popularity was growing in the late 2000s. The actress has also been featured in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. The commercials she has done have been for big brands, like Volvo. The actress currently resides with her family in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting career.
